Background
I am attached with the Department of Information
Sciences, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology
at University of Malaya, Malaysia. I am currently under study
leave sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and University of
Malaya starting 18 December 2008.
I graduated
with Bachelor of Information Technology in 1998 and Master of Information
Technology in 2000, both from National University of Malaysia. After
graduated, I worked for Malaysia's first virtual university (Universiti Tun Abdul Razak or UNITAR). I later joined
Malaysia's premier university, University of Malaya (UM) in Kuala Lumpur as an
academic since August 2003.

Title: The
Use of Online Social Networking (OSN) for Higher Education
My research
aim is to provide empirical data through a systematic investigation into why
and how academics and students choose to use social technologies in their
teaching and learning.
