I am an Australian Professorial Fellow in the Department of Information Systems at the University of Melbourne. My research interests focus on the implementation and impact of information systems, data quality and conceptual modeling. A major recent focus is understanding how organisations gain benefits from business analytics systems.

I am on the editorial boards of the Journal of Database Management, Pacific Asia Journal of the Association for Information Systems, International Journal of Data Warehousing and Mining and the Journal of Knowledge Management Research and Practice. I was recently a member of the College of Experts of the Australian Research Council.
