— Connor's Interests — 

I love long-distance sports. I have had a go at a few things and have been lucky enough to finish them all:

• Melbourne Marathon 2001 & 2002;
• Desaru (Malaysia) Olympic Distance Triathlon 1998;
• Sabah (Malaysia) Olympic Distance Triathlon 1998.

Wanderlust is in the genes and I have had the following experiences around the world:

• Lived and worked in Singapore 1993-1999;
• Visited Malaysia, Denmark, Hungary, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Portugal, Ireland, England and Northern Ireland 1993-2003;
• Travelled Europe and North Africa in 1989.

I enjoy reading classic, popular and crime novels. Favourite authors and novels include:

• Hunter S. Thompson - The Rum Diaries;
• F. Scott Fitzgerald - The Great Gatsby;
• Mikhail Bulgakov - The Master and Margarita;
• James Ellroy - White Jazz;
• Oscar Wilde - The Picture of Dorian Gray.

"The apparel oft doth proclaim the man"... I have a soft spot for clothes and am currently addicted to Diesel. I also like Calvin Klein and Boss in particular (although I cannot afford to buy them!). I like the local designers too: Saba, Marcs & Vicious Threads

I enjoy cooking when I get the time...but enjoy eating out with my wife and friends even more!

I enjoy red wine. I have sampled some quite good reds in the not too distant past:

  Enjoyed with my good friend Jesper at the Supper Club on the occasion of his niece's birth

  Enjoyed with my mum & brothers in Lisbon, Portugal on the occasion of my mum's birthday

  Enjoyed with my good friends Glenn & James on the occasion of Glenn's birthday

  Enjoyed with Glenn & his family on the occasion of a very significant birthday for Glenn.

  Enjoyed with Information Systems colleages after the staff Christmas party 2002

Last and most importantly (if you've read this far) is Kiera. Kiera is clever, funny, beautiful and generally lovely...and my daughter.
